A site that serves some subscribers on Tomki and West Roads in Redwood Valley is currently having electrical issues. New replacement batteries will need to be hiked in to the site in the morning . I expect to arrive on-site by 8AM.

Resolved – Fort Bragg outage
A power outage in Fort Bragg is affecting service to subscribers in Fort Bragg and north to Westport. Backup batteries appear to be depleted and our backup generator has not automatically started as it should. PGE currently is estimating power restoration at 8PM.

This evening a relay that serves some subscribers on Tomki Road, Scenic, and Cave Creek is exhibiting issues. It’s unclear at this point if it is power-related or something else. We’ll be there first thing in the AM to diagnose and repair.

A relay serving subscribers on Tomki Road and the Fisher Lake subdivision is down due to yet unknown reasons. Access may be difficult due to snow but I plan to get up there this afternoon to diagnose and repair.

Resolved – McNab Ranch router failure
A router at a site on McNab Ranch that serves many on the ranch and in Hopland seems to have failed early this AM. I am en route to diagnose and replace shortly. I hope to have service restored to those affected by 9AM.

Resolved – Coastal power outages impacting service
Most subscribers North of Fort Bragg are experiencing a service interruption due to ongoing power outages up the coast. PGE has assigned crews to assess the outages but there is no E.T.R. Once power is restored coastal customer’s service should be as well.

Resolved – Water in the lines
A link feeding a site that serves many in Ukiah and along Robinson Creek, Low Gap, and Pine Ridge roads is exhibiting signs of water in a feed line. This is causing link performance problems and brief outages for customers served by it.
I will be replacing the affected unit within the next 30 minutes. Expect another short service interruption while this work is completed.

Resolved – Troubled hardware causing slow speeds for some
A failing router at our head-end is causing slow speeds for some subscribers today. I will be replacing the equipment within the next hour or two. Subscribers can expect a short 2~3 minute service interruption while this hardware is replaced.

Resolved – McNab Ranch – Moose Rd Relay upgrades
Monday morning beginning at around 10:30AM we will be performing upgrades at the Moose Road relay on McNab Ranch. Subscribers that are served from this relay should expect 20~30 minutes of service interruption while the upgrades are performed.
